He removed the face mask of one of the attackers. "Skeletons? Since when are Skeletons smart enough to use a bow and arrow? And why are they out when the sun's still shining?"

Myra looked at Robin from where she was. She then looked down at the ground, then at the small boat she had near the water's edge. Shrugging, she strode over, got in the boat, and paddled over to where he was. When she saw the skeletons on the ground, Myra shivered. "Oh, are those the creatures the guards keep out by shutting the gate at nighttime?" she asked, looking at the sky.

"Yeah." He looked at the sky. "Sun's still out but we got less than an hour of daytime left."

Myra quickly tied the boat up and jumped to where Robin was, then tapped her foot. "Well," she said, looking around. "We should start heading for the town, the guards shut the gate so quickly."

"Yeah. Let's go." They began to move toward Castle Town.

Myra followed behind Robin, her hands at her sides and her feet moving quickly. She remember about her basket, but thought she would revist and get it tomorrow. After all, who would want to steal a wooden basket? They're not that rare. The sun was nearly under the mountains when they got the gate. "Oh, no!" Myra yelped, pointing to the gate. It was shaking in its place in the the ground, and suddenly it lifted, dirt flying in the air.

"Hang on!" He picked her up and jumped and slide down the other side of the gate as it closed.

Myra's hands were closed tightly on Robin's arms as they flew down the gate and into the town. The guard, who was always standing patrol near the gate, looked at them oddly. He then smiled, and tapped his side. "Ahh, Myra," he began. "Sorry for shutting the gate so quickly on you and your... friend." Myra, who was still in a mini-colma, turned her head and nodded to the guard, grip still strong on Robin's arms.

"Guess we made it." There was loud bang as the gate shut behind them. "We'll be safe."

Myra's grip loosened, and she slid off of Robin's back. "Yes," she replied, brushing off her skirt. "If you'd like, I have a spare room at my house. You could stay there, or..." She slapped her cheek, and laughed a bit. "That's right, your mother lives here, right? Will she let you stay with her?"

"Honestly, I'd rather not bother my mom. As it is, she's in pretty poor health, plus she only has the rupees to barely support herself."

Myra looked down at the ground. "Your poor mother," she said, frowning. "Well, follow me. I'll lead you to my house." She turned around and spunkily strided forwards, heading to her house which was in one of the back alleys.

He followed behind her, not sure how her parents were going to react when she brought a boy home with her, especially one that was a Halfling.

Myra's hand grabbed the handle of a door, then she swung it open. "Mother! Father! I'm home!" she said gleefully, prancing into the small house. She turned to Robin. "You may want to keep your goggles on. Don't want to scare the folks," she whispered to him, tapping her head, then laughing. Her house wasn't big, nor was it small. It had a small kitchen-like area, with a fireplace and a table and chairs. There were stairs that lead to an upstairs area, where there were three bedrooms and one bathroom. Myra's parents weren't in the lower floor. Perhaps they were in the upper area...

It's awful quiet, even for a backalley home. Has something happened? He kept this thought to himself.
